Should You Carry A Gun In Church?

I say no, but what do you say?

I have been hearing about this for the past week, and I think that it is because of the latest shooting(s), particularity the one in Oak Creek Wis where a gun man killed 6 innocent people and wounded 13 others including a police officer.

Now this is a travesty, I would like to believe in the 2ed amendment which gives and or states our right to bear arms, I do not believe that when it was drafted this included that we should carry them in a church.

I was reading and article earlier today on a Pastor in Wisconsin that was practically pleading with his parishioners about not carrying in his church.

What is this world coming to when a Pastor, Preacher, or Clergy Man has to plead with his congregation not to bring and or carry weapons especially guns in a house of worship. I think that that is the travesty.

You go to church to worship, give thanks, and to testify, as well as seek his forgiveness. Not to be ready and or prepare for war. Read the 23rd Psalm, which states:

"Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil: For thou art with me;
Thy rod and thy staff, they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies;
Thou annointest my head with oil; My cup runneth over."

 Mark 11:17 states that :

And he taught, saying unto them, Is it not written, My house shall be called of all nations the house of prayer? but ye have made it a den of thieves.

will we not be making and or taking it in that direction by letting folks bring guns in a house of worship? I wonder' heck even the cowboys did new where to draw the line. I have yet to hear about a cowboy or anyone from the wild west carrying their pistols to church with them. What your

Thoughts on this Subject??

It's That Time Again !!

Thats right the time is again, what time you may ask. It is time to choose a new Commander & Chief.

Will it be our current Commander & Chief President Obama or His Opponent Mitt Romney.

Now I am not trying to tell anyone who to vote for, I am hoping that you are old enough to make up your own mind an do what is best for you and your family.

I know that there were a lot of promises made, by our current President, as well as there are a butt load of promises being made by our President want to be, but let's first face the facts, all politician make promises that they can not keep and or do not expect to keep, of for some reason or another the promise that was made just cannot be kept.

Back in the 2008 election year President Obama ran on the platform of change, maybe if you read my blog on Has Change Really Happen Mr. President I touched on some of the topics that I thought people were talking about like the Economy, Killing Bin Laden, and Unemployment. But I do believe that some change has come. Don't You?

Riddle me this: If you follow this link Layoffs you will see that at the present time even though the Unemployment rate is still high things are getting better, what has Romney done, but continue to say, nothing has changed, but obviously something has changed right, but nobody is saying good job Mr. President, and lets keep it going.

President Obama, gave the go ahead to kill and destroy Public enemy #1, which not only got ride of Bin Laden, but also gathered some vital intelligence on others in the his organization, but after all that Romney still is saying that he has Obama has failed us, but he did not fail here, or was it just a figment of our imagination? Didn't this help lead to the #2 man,I wonder?

Now the economy, is still bad, I mean lets face it, the majority of us voted for the Bush that got us in this situation in the first place, and after his first four years, we should have just sent him on his way, but you voted him back in any way, and now look at where it has us.

President Obama cannot change this over night, and damn sure not in four years, but I guess you think that he is or was our messiah, and with a snap of his finger or a wave of his hand that this would all change, but it just cannot happen that way. When I voted in 2008 yes for Obama, I was not looking for a Saviour,I have one already My Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, when I voted, I voted for a President and or Commander & Chief that I thought would be the right man for the job, and I still do!

So when you make you choice this November, just do me a favor and take time to weigh your options. You cannot talk about it if you do not: Rock The Vote

Gas Still going up

Today I went to my local gas station to, of coarse get some gas for the old truck so I may get back and forth to work, and low and behold he cost of gas has risen again.

Gas went from $3.83 a gallon to $4.03, not to mention much higher in other places here where I live in West Virgina.

What is a person to do, I mean you have to get to work to pay the bills, as well as keep and maintain your house hold right,  but at the rate things are going if you don't have a scooter, that can run a week on one full tank of gas then you are short.

I do not understand how we are suppose to live in the greatest, wealthy, and most technologically advance country in the world, and yet we are constantly being lead around by our short hairs for lack of a better term!

How is it that every other country that we either help or align ourselves with have a better chance of getting along with their daily lives and continue to function in their everyday lives without even a hiccup, but yet we continue to help them long after the fact and our cost goes up.

I think that it is time to strike and tell our politicians that they need to start thinking about us more and leave well enough alone for right now.

Let's Discuss This

Let's Discuss This

Cost of Gas is On the Rise Again

I remember when I was growing up, gas was only $1.50 cents per gallon on average, of coarse this was close to 20 to 30 years ago, when I was around 8 or 9. Man you could fill your tank, and it seems like you could drive for days.

Then as I got older and became a family man, prices rose a little, but now as much as it seems today. At the time I was married to my first wife, and living in North Carolina, I would take my wife and we would visit her family in Georgia. I would take 95 south all the way, and there was this little mom and pop, gas station right across the South Carolina and Georgia border that we'd always stop at where gas was always cheaper than all the other stations around.

Well that has long since past and I would assume that with the current economy that station is out of business now along with a lot of other mom and pop stations.

What I do not understand is that if we are the richest, as well as most technological nation in the world then, aren't we smart enough to start using our own petroleum that we are gathering, that way we can begin to support our selves rather than others.

It is estimated that back in 2010 the U.S. was consuming close to 19,150,000 barrels a day according to CIA-The World Fact, and it seems to me if we are utilizing so much, then we should not have to pay the most for it. What do you think?

According to the EIA (Energy Information Administration) "About 49% of the petroleum consumed in the US was imported. But now where did it explain were the other 51% comes from. Aim I missing something here?

Now I do understand The Law Of Supply and Demand, the greater the supply the lower the demand, and vice versa. But since we are the ones that are demand more, should we have to pay the highest price, and if so the since the other countries are demanding less, why are they paying less?

We have came a long way in the last 30 years that I can remember, with things like the Internet, cell phone, hybrid cars, and war drones, etc. Why is that since we are suppose to be the most Technologically advance country in the world figure out how to lower our Dam Gas Prices?

Has Change Really Happend Mr. President!

It is now the third year, for our current President, and everyone is asking what has he actually done to help change America.
  1. Unployment is still at a all time high
  2. He created a health care plan that seems to tick and or piss a lot of Americans off.
  3. We killed bin laden (this name does not deserve to be capiliazed) but the war in Iraq is still ongoing.
  4. The economy is still in the tank.
And this guy wants to be President for four more years, is he INSANE?

He must be right, I mean everyone has it all figered out. With all the problems going on, nothing has changed, it seems to be all the same.

Well from my point of view things have changed. First of all let me start off by saying that yes I did vote for President Obama, and no this is not a ploy and I am not an advocat to try to get President Obama re-elected. This is just my view on the current state of the union so to speak.

I want everyone to reflect on the last President, thats right President Bush. No while I am a democrate, I do beleive that President Ronald Regan was a great President, and his former VP Bush, could have been a great President as well, but not all Presidents are the same, as we all know. I mean lets face it, he spent four (4) years running the country his way, and made a lot of enemies in the process, which brought us to elect President Clinton, and while he had his indiscretions, he had to spend his first four years cleaning up what former President Bush had screwed up. If you can recall everything that President Clinton did and or changed, came in his last four (4) years, and before he could enjoy the fruits of his labor, his time was up.

Now which brings us to President G. W. Bush, by the time he began his Presidency we were all still enjoying what President Clinton had created, and life was good, at least I thoutht it was. But instead of everyone realizing that we were still living and enjoying the Clinton era, we were all led to believe that it was the Bush era that we were enjoying, and all the while we were being fooled. He changed a lot of the Clinton policies and inserted his own. Who do you think sent all our jobs overseas, not Clinton, or Obama, But former President Bush, and who do you think tanked the economy not Obama, but Bush.

Now brings us to our current Commandar and Cheif, President Obama. A lot of people are saying that nothing has changed, but we do not actually know that. I mean that we are still living in the Bush era, do you think. President Obama has to change, and or rewrite all the wrong policies that our former President put in place. Now I do admit that there has been some set backs, but we all must fall some times, in order to get it right the next time.

Think about this, change takes time, as well as paitents. I wonder how many of you wanted to change something about yourself, such as dieting, smoking, drinking, or in Herman Cains case cheating. When you decided to change, and you started on Monday, what was actually different on Tuesday, bisides your will to make that change.

Like I said eariler, this is not a ploy, and I am not and advocate for the his re-election, but I think that it would be wrong for us to elect another President, so we can just say that Change has finally come to America, when it was President Obama's change that actually took affect.
